Black Ops 2 Xbox Patch Released Today

Xbox 360 users who play Call of Duty Blacks Ops 2 will be glad to know a new patch was released today to fix some of the issues with multiplayer and zombie mode play. For those who are a bit miffed when logging on and finding there is a patch to download, this one isn’t too bad. It’s only 39M, so it should be pretty quick to download.

Here’s a highlight of the patch notes, although a full list can be found over on Activision’s site:

  • Party members show up on map as purple when colorblind assist is turned on
  • Hint tool added for map voter
  • Resolved issue with resetting stats after problems saving
  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to accrue XP without matchmaking
  • EMPs no longer cancel out opponents’ EMPs
  • Corrected an issue stopping players from linking Twitch in multiplayer party lobby options
  • UAV should now be called properly in multi-team hardcore matches
  • Fixed an issue where Xbox users could not accept invites from the Xbox dashboard
  • Reduced Guardian damage in hardcore modes
